At The Soulcial Well

Loneliness isn't just uncomfortable. It is a public health crisis with real mental and physical consequences. At The Soulcial Well, we exist to close that gap. We create immersive, experientially designed spaces where people skip the small talk and get to the real deal, because healing is more powerful when it happens in community.

✨ We don't talk about connection. We design it. ✨

How We Started

I started The Soulcial Well because I kept watching people suffer quietly in a world full of noise. As a psychologist, I understood the science behind loneliness: the cortisol spikes, the immune suppression, the shortened lifespan. But I also understood something harder to quantify. People just don't need information about connection. They need to experience it.

So I built something. Not a clinic. Not a class. A community where people could in as strangers and leave feeling genuinely seen. A space where the experience itself was the intervention and we didn't just talk about wellness, we designed it.

What started as small, intentional gathering grew into a framework called Candid Conversations, now activated in parks, universities, corporate spaces, and on stage of the American Psychological Association's national conference. The format changes. The mission stays the same: skip the small talk, build real connection, heal together.

Our Mission

4 piece puzzle

We believe healing was never meant to happen in isolation. At The Soulcial Well, we design immersive, psychologically grounded experiences that bring people together, skip the small talk, and build the kind of connection that actually changes how you move through the world.

Our Vision

A world where community is medicine. Where no one has to navigate their journey in isolation, and where the antidote to loneliness is as simple as one honest conversation.

Our Core Values

Everything we do is rooted in these six values. They show up in every experience, every conversation, and every space we create.

connection & community core value

connection & community

We believe belonging is a basic human need. Everything we build is designed to create it.

authenticity core value

authenticity

No performance. No small talk. Just real people showing up as they actually are.

exploration & growth core value

exploration & growth

We create space for people to get curious about themselves and each other, and to leave a little different than they came in.

creativity core value

creativity

Healing doesn't have to be heavy. We find joy, play, and creativity in the work because that's where real breakthroughs happen.

intentionality core value

intentionality

Nothing we do is accidental. Every detail is purposeful, every experience is designed, and every moment has a reason for being there.

experiential design core value

experiential design

We don't talk about connection. We build experiences that create it, so people leave with something they can actually feel and use in their daily lives.

Founder, Soulcial Wellness Architect

Personal growth, deep connections, and intentional living.

I am Dr. Wilma, a psychologist and social wellness architect with a simple but deeply held belief: healing doesn't happen in isolation. I built The Soulcial Well because I felt the gap myself and kept hearing it from the people around me. Everyone was craving real connection but the spaces for it felt forced, awkward, or just didn't exist. So I created one. It started with an event and a deck of cards I made for honest dialogue — what became the Candid Conversation framework. That first event made clear there was a real gap I could fill, and I kept building as I moved from Los Angeles to Houston to Atlanta. At its core, Candid Conversation is a mode of storytelling. It creates the conditions for people to be authentic, vulnerable while being genuinely received by others. That kind of exchange is universal. It crosses language, culture, and background because the human need underneath it is the same everywhere. Today, Candid Conversation is the foundation of every Soulcial Well program. Each one is built around experiential learning design — meaning people don't just hear about connection, they practice it in real time and walk away with something they can actually apply in their daily lives. Every program has a curriculum I designed that can be adapted across different settings, populations, and audiences, because real connection shouldn't be a one-size-fits-all experience.
