Symptoms include hopelessness, loss of interest, increased fatigue/sleep problems, trouble concentrating, digestive issues, appetite changes, bodily aches, & thoughts of suicide. Depression is a serious mental health condition affecting people from all backgrounds. Black communities, however are at serious risk due to societal pressure, racial trauma, discrimination and racial barriers to access care.
